Article: Using the Power Music App for practice or performance

Menu screen

From this screen you can select All Songs, select Playlists, access My Box, add a New Song, Redeem Vouchers for songbooks, change Setting of the screen colours etc, set up Synchronised Page Turning, access Support web pages and Backup and Restore the Power Music data in the iPad.

All Songs screen

From this screen you can select the song to view by browsing or by typing into the search box. To delete a song swipe left on the song title.

Performance screen

This full-screen mode. It can be either portrait (shown) or landscape. Chord sheets or sheet music can be displayed.

Page turning can be by swiping or tapping the areas shown or by using a foot pedal, for example the Pageflip or Airturn Bluetooth pedal.

Page turning moves you through the currently selected list of songs. For example the list could be - a playlist, All Songs, or songs in a selects category or by a selected author.

An audio track, from the Music library in the iPad, can be linked to any song. This can be used to hear a song during practice or as a backing track when performning.

Performance notes can be added and edited for each song.

Power Music Box screen

From this screen you can access all the features of My Box once you have logged in to your account.

You can download songs and playlists and upload playlists created on the App.

From this screen you can also delete songs from the App or from your My Box account.

Songs purchased from Power Music Store are highlighted in blue and cannot be deleted from My Box.

Songs can be multi-selected for downloading or deleting.
