The quickest way to transfer your entire Power Music database between two iPads or iPhones running Power Music App or Power Music Reader is to use the Backup and Restore feature and AirDrop.
AirDrop is a feature of iOS devices that allows you to wirelessly transfer files to anyone nearby.
First, make sure AirDrop is switched on. Open the Settings app and navigate to General->AirDrop. Select "Contacts Only" or "Everyone" depending on who owns the two devices. Ensure both devices are unlocked and near to each other.
On the iPad or iPhone you want to transfer your database from, create a backup in the Backup and Restore menu in Power Music App or Power Music Reader. Then, select the backup file and tap "Export". A share sheet will pop up. If you have enabled AirDrop on the receiving device, you should see an icon for it appear in the top section. Tap the icon for the device you want to send the backup file to.
On the receiving device, a pop-up will appear asking what you want to do with the received file. Tap "PM Reader" or "Power Music" depending on which app you have installed.
Once transferred, Power Music will open and notify you that the backup file has been imported.
You can then open the Backup and Restore menu, select the imported backup file, and tap "Restore". WARNING: This will delete all existing songs and playlists on your iPad or iPhone and replace them with the contents of the backup file.
It is not possible to transfer a selection of songs or to keep existing songs on the receiving device using this method. In this case, Power Music Box should be used to transfer the required songs.
