Article: Support for Windows XP

The versions (December 2015) of Power Music Professional 5.1.2.35 and Power Music Essentials 5.0.3.0 WILL run on Windows XP SP3.
However, Microsoft withdrew support for Windows XP on 8th April 2014.  They announced they would no longer supply security and other updates for this operating system. Read this Microsoft article for more details:  http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/end-support-help  In particular the sentence:  "Also, as more software and hardware manufacturers continue to optimise for more recent versions of Windows, you can expect to encounter more apps and devices that do not work with Windows XP."

Cambron has done its best to support Power Music running on Windows XP but we can no longer guarantee that any newer versions (after those mentioned above) of Power Music will function fully on Windows XP.

Our advice to XP users is to upgrade to a more modern operating system, preferably Windows 10.
